Hello, and thank you for checking out Godsfall! We know it can be a bit intimidating to dive into a new show, especially D&D actual play podcasts, so we put together this handy guide to welcome in new players.
What is Godsfall?
Godsfall is a Dungeons and Dragons podcast that uses a heavily modified version of the fifth edition ruleset in a custom world known as Khalgun. The show is recorded as we play and heavily edited with music, sound effects and voice overs to flow more like an audio drama than an actual play podcast.

What is the show about?
The show is about a group of outcasts that are born into a fantasy world that has recently been through a great war that killed all the Gods, ended magic and destroyed the majority of the planet. Our players realize they somehow have been gifted the powers of the Old Gods and find themselves in a race to save both themselves and what is left of the planet.

Where should I start?
Well, that depends what you are into. If you like background episodes and worldbuilding, you can listen to all four History episodes without spoiling the main plot:
If you want to skip all that detail, you can jump to Episode #002 where we start the first of four character introduction episodes to introduce you to our players and our PCs.

Where can I listen to the podcast?
The podcast is available via the following:
What else are you working on?
In addition to the podcast, we are also publishing a Godsfall Worldbook that will contain original art, maps, rules, races and monsters from the world of Khalgun.
Sneak previews of art and layouts for the upcoming Godsfall Worldbook!
“What’s meant for me?”
“Oh, yes. As it should be.”
“I’m just saying, I’m not there, but this bottomless well of crushing despair might be what powers all of Ani.”
“So it’s like Houston.”
If this is your first time listening to Godsfall – welcome! This episode will provide background how the world came to be and how the recent Godswar nearly destroyed all of known creation. If you are a returning listener, I think you will enjoy this re-recorded and re-edited first episode of Godsfall as we begin preparations to show off our improved audio in Season 3.
